world.
Dr. Eshelman had a vision at the age of 12 that this was to be her
life's work. Her mission is to teach people to teach people to teach
about natural health in an effort to give folk medicine back to the
FOLKS!
We are here to share our love of God and LIFE!

We are a Universal Life Church....An interfaith healing
ministry in which all can participate who worship in love, celebrating
the goodness of life. Dr. Eshelman as been an ordained minister through
the Universal Life Church since 1998.The Universal Life Church has no traditional doctrine. We as an organization believe in that which is right. Each individual has the privilege and responsibility to determine what is right for themselves, as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others. We do not stand between you and your God. We are active advocates of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.
WE ARE ADVOCATES OF THE GOOD LIFE! We want to be competent, to be proficient, to be cooperative, to love our fellow man, to appreciate, to be humble, to be honest, to be moral, to live positively, to be what we profess.

At Essentials of Life we believe that the body is the temple of God. We look to ways to nourish and care for it, which are in keeping with the way it was designed.
We believe Life to be holy, and self-sustaining. Life begets life, and life always seeks to survive.
We believe in the power of nature as created by God to support all of life, and we study natural methods of taking care of the body, in accordance with natural laws. We believe it is our God-given right to make use of what we were given in nature to attend to our health.
We believe God is the power within all of nature...God is the power in us...and we believe God has the power to HEAL!
However, faith without works is dead and so we strive to PRACTICE these ways, taking care of our earthly temples with what God has provided to support life on earth.
Mind…
Education is essential to what we are trying to do. Our goal is to teach people to teach people to teach ways to live life more abundantly, according to God’s natural plan. It is our goal to Give Folk Medicine Back to the FOLKS!
We also teach how to use the power of the mind for our healing, working to develop positive habits of thought, focusing our intent upon good, and manifesting that good in our lives.
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."
Spirit…
We believe God is Love, and God is Life, and God is everywhere present within and without us. We draw upon this Power to heal, and we support each other in this.
In holistic healing it is believed that all aspects of being must be addressed in order for healing to be complete. At Essentials of Life we practice and teach not only physical and emotional healing techniques and proper use of the mind, but spiritual methods of healing, as well.
We offer spiritual counseling, take part in spiritual healing practices, provide opportunities for fellowship, perform service work for the benefit of others, and extend a community of prayer and support.
We offer the traditional services, too, of a church, such as weddings, commitment ceremonies, memorial services, funerals, christenings, and other commemorative services for milestone events in a person's life, along with premarital, bereavement and spiritual counseling, et al.
We also offer classes, workshops, study groups, and experiential learning opportunities, both locally and through distance learning. We teach ways to make your life better by living according to the plan God designed to keep us well, and how to make use of the healing gifts of sunshine, water, herbs, food, aroma, song, positive thinking, laughter, creativity, dance, colors, friendship, prayer, movement, meditation and rest. And most of all, we teach LOVE!
At Essentials of Life, we strive to find ways to extend our hearts and our healing gifts to people and animals all over the world wherever there is a need.
